Card Base
You will score along the 5 ½ x 8 ½ card base at the 4 ¼ to form your card base.
Then you will move the card stock to the 3" mark on cutter and cut from the 2 ½ “ mark to the 4 7/8 " mark.
Turn the card clockwise 90* degrees and line up at the 3" mark. This is at the edge of your finish cut you just made.
Cut from the cut mark to the 5/8" mark. This forms your corner fold. Use glue or glue dots to hold down the flap.
Colored Faux Forged Metal Design
Gently crumble your foil (do not make into ball as it will tear when unfolding) smooth out and then glue to your scrap stock using a glue stick. (note: you can use liquid glue, but it will need to dry to avoid oozing out when embossed)
Emboss your piece of foil with the triangle folder or design of your choice.
With the alcohol inks- put 1-2 drops on different areas of the applicator (A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY) add a couple drops or spritz of the blending solution onto the applicator. Dab your foil randomly with the color mix. When itÂ’s dry (dries quickly), apply a small amount the black acrylic paint to a small sponge and rub over entire design. Before it dries completely, take a paper towel and dab off desired amount of the black. Leaving some in the cracks etc., that gives it the forged metal look. With a small piece of sand paper, scuff over the top of your project to bring out some of the shiny.
